    Thanks John. That is actually an interesting point you bring up. Cover crops are not very popular around here since we miss growing time and are in a low rainfall area. So it would be interesting to test them from nutrient release and water competition standpoint. It would also be interesting which alternatives we actually have to cover crops. I remember you stating that your fall primer has had similar effects?

    I feel it is difficult to measure soil health, since plants and soils are so much interconnected. Measuring public health is not really the practical option in this case, so I guess we have to stick to the classics of filtration, slake test, counting worms…?
