My calcium level from the total soil analysis is 42,000ppm. The long term goal for the release of calcium from the soil is a very diverse cover crop, keep rotating animals, get the OM up to 4+ to get a healthy protozoa population, and monitor fungi and bacteria populations and ratios.
Short term solution is a healthy dose of foliar coral calcium at bud break, and lower rates when the other micros are applied up to flowering. We’ll also apply the coral calcium through the irrigation water into the soil.
