Thanks for your knowledge and experience. My questions do not stem from a “fear of overapplication comes from a desire to keep things “natural” and/or “native” and/or preserve the sacred microbiome”. I am simply trying to get people experience on increasing pH given the potential to impact microbial populations. I do think that the change in microbial populations inherent in the change in pH and new culture is an interesting and valid perspective that I will take into account. There is no Dogma to my practice – only the desire to do the least harm and have the optimal results as I am a new farmer.
