    Some cover crop mixes use a black oat. Maybe a more effective reducer. You Can research/ ask more questions to Kings AgriSeeds, the US supplier of TerraLife cover crop mixes, developed by <www.dsv-seeds.com> (a German firm) which were based on cover crop trials at Max Plank Institute.
