The most exciting thing I’ve watched over the last 12 months has been a multi species cash crop. This particular one had 22 species no input other than a worm extract on the seed in second year transition. There could be the opportunity to grade out high value small seed and have the bulk for pig feed. This particular crop cleaned 670kg high value clover seed and had 2.15 T other seed per ha (still high value radish seed in the mix that could be cleaned). Impressive result in a high disease pressure year for surrounding conventional crops.
