In my own observations, I can not confirm the thesis with the high pH and insect susceptibility and low pH – fungus susceptibility. Each plant has its own pH spectrum, for example, the ideal pH vine is 3.2 -3.7. According to the explanations of James White about the redox potential, the pH alone is not the whole truth. In addition, NovaCropControl consultants recommend not to focus too much on pH because the nitrate will be converted to ammonium if the samples are not analyzed immediately. However, I find that when the pH is in the ideal range, the plants are also more vital because the nutrients are available to the plant in a balanced way.
