I have practically no experience with cover crops. I’m just trying to figure out a sensible path forward. Yes John, a good cover over winter that I could plant into early spring is what I’m after. I’d like to plant a cover that would benifit and not suppress the growth of my crops, like carrots and parsnips, for instance. At the same time I’d like for the cover to suppress weeds, the worst of which would be lambs quarters and pig weed. I feel that I might be asking for a bit too much, but who knows, someone on here might have a good solution for me. ????
