Hi @EthanFStuckey , I expect your assumption about temperature is an incorrect one if we are considering soil temperature. With the light tillage pass producing bare soil exposed to sunlight soils will rapidly warm up to as much as 30-40 F warmer than soils that are covered with mulch and crop residue. I suspect this may be the source of the accelerated development.
