It would likely be a combination of all the above. Grazing adds more soluble nutrients, tillage oxidizes organic matter and releases more C02, and increased soil temperatures trigger more nutrient release. You did a combination of things, and the combination produced a different outcome. It was not just one thing that made the difference.
