I am a big fan of canola (we call it rapeseed here), I like bin run oats because they’re affordable and I am impressed with the tilth they provide. I haven’t had great luck with peas so I usually lean towards a vetch or clover species but as I’ve learned you know your farm best and your experiences are key in what will work. That was just my 2¢ ????

Oh and I’m on the border of zone 5/6.
