I’ve got 2000 MERINO ewes and lambs behind a single hotwire I’ve had them in tight down to 1ha. 95% stay put which is enough for the impact I’m after. Cross bred or hair sheep would be more challenging. Kiwi tech have a very user friendly electric fencing system where you can role multiple strands in and out with one pass.
