This organism shows up in the index three times in Mineral Nutrition and Plant Disease, associated with the presence of the amino acid glycine, and inadequate/wrong form of iron. We have been able to manage it in other crops by managing trace minerals (including iron) very closely, but couldn’t point to just one mineral that has resolved it.
