    Thanks Jerel,

I saw this post earlier, but took some time to respond, as i had to think about the possibilities.

My last year fertiliser rates were lighter than i have now learnt they need to be. In particular the Potassium during our summer was low. We had a definite seediness problem then as well.

The Manganese was in the healthy range.

I have been neglecting the potassium in the current applications, while we are between crops, the last leaf test showed the levels were light on. I will get another leaf test this week if possible to see the Manganese and potassium levels in particular. However as soon as the leaf test has been taken i will increase the potassium levels to see if there is a noticeable change.

Thanks for your input. I don’t know of any other website where i would have asked this question. Information it seems is not readily available.

I have asked this question locally.

So in short to get two responses of value is amazing.
