I use smell a lot even though it’s a pretty weak sense for me unfortunately. It’s interesting the range from almost nothing to sweet, mold, anaerobic then even a stronger sulfur smell. The most intriguing was a very dense heavy clay (around 20kg for a square shovel cut) smelt like iron as if I had been welding.
