Hi Andrew!
I grow in TX.
I reused my plastic this year but was pretty unhappy with the result. I won’t do that again. This year I’m growing about 5 acres. Next year we’ll go up to about 8 – with 2.5 of those being just straight planting into a cover crop. The other 5.5 will be traditional tillage/plastic mulch. I’m in a highly calcareous soil that just packs like concrete.. so it takes a tremendous amount of tillage to get the soil to flow well enough to make beds. Just creates a downward spiral of compaction & tillage. I’m really tired of it.
