Organic farmers in our area (Okanagan valley of BC, Can zone 5b) have grown Khorasan successfully and have found it grows as well as wheat on non-irrigated land. Cereal leaf beetle doesn’t seem to bother it which is a problem for most of the conventional grains around here. Moisture could make things different for you as we tend to get very hot and dry just as it’s finished heading out and this finishes it up nicely for harvest. Seed was from an Alberta supplier.
