I’ve made LAB serum using fresh worm leachate as a starter instead of doing the rice capture. Leachate and milk at 1-1 ratio. I’ve had conversations with Dr Christine Jones, Gerry Gillespie and Lee Fieldhouse around this and using fresh manures especially pigs as they are hindgut fermenters to start LAB serums.
