I saw this and it has tugged at me. I am not a ‘broad acre’ or whatever grower so take my thoughts with a pinch of salt. Since you are here, it means you probably have an open mind, which puts you ahead of the curve.

First, AEA should be advising you so that you can be economically successful. If they can’t, then you should reconsider the scope of what you are doing.

Second, since you reference failure, I have been failing for over 10 years by most people’s standards. So I’ll just say that success (outside of economic survival) is defined by the intersection of perception and expectation. Manage those wisely.
