Which micronutrients are safer to err on excess vs err on deficiency
Benny I love the precision with which you think and approach your applications. Its important IMO. I wonder if another way to approach things is to consider how many grams or milligrams of a nutrient is being delivered (perhaps per square foot) instead of ppm – since ppm is a weight by weight ratio.
Maybe it doesn’t really matter and…

Hey Jonathan,
I make a slurry with following recipe:
For 10kg of seeds:
600ml compost (or 450grams)
100grams of Leonardite
35ml fish hydrolysate
1ml melasses
15ml milk
350ml of water
I mix the water with the molasses, the milk and the oil. Mix it thoroughly. Add the compost in last, mix and make a paste. It should not be too liquid but fluid enough…

I can’t attest to microgreens, but I can tell you that when we went down the route of sap testing, as per @john.kempf methods, and understanding more about the trace elements, we found that our fruit became firmer, and had significantly more shelf life.

Not directly with microgreens but with stored vegetables. Also important are high silicon values and low ammonium and nitrate values. I see good effects with a silicate-containing stone meal in combination with compost tea.
