When forest fires happen here, the fallen leaves & wood are charred some like Charcoal (pl see pic)and some ash; can this charcoal be called Biochar; mixed with forest soil is this good to enrich soil ?

Has anyone on here done keyline design on broadacre crops? I know the yeoman’s plow is one of the best tools for eliminating compaction, but does anyone use Y.P.
