Deroceras are not funny. What I think that they do not like at all is the defense metabolites of the plant. They go for the new growth and varieties/weak plants that do not show a quick browning reaction where they are nibbled, which means that photosynthesis is not at peak to fuel phenolic defense. From a precision point of view my approach to foliar feeding is a nightmare – it is more like cooking. I have some modules of KNF, then I use green-tea, the liquid of Baresa black olives (has a lot of iron gluconate in it), sometimes Mg-citrate, molasses, herbal teas depending on what I want to achieve.
