Has anyone looked at using an old hesston stakhand to make haylage? I had thought that the compression of the unit might be good for hay-in-a-day. I could put straw on the ground to create separation between the soil and the stack. Idea is to create silage for sheep in pasture, while not creating an outragous amount of plastic waste?
