The honey from the nectar on the Holy Basil is amazing… In the future I want to grow fields of that as a coverc crop, well, let’s be real, part of a cover cropping system. 🙂

Yes, That AND there are a few specifically on orchard management and especially regarding calium, potassium and a few key trace minerals for preventing scab and a few other issues. VERY good info!

In a podcast that John Kempf did, “Nutrition at critical points of influence”, he recommended applying a foliar spay before bud initiation. Based on sap analysis, it should contain adequate calcium, manganese, boron, zinc, copper and adding urea to provide freezing resistance. I recommend you listen to that podcast.
