We have now harvested our 13ha Buckwheat trial just before Christmas. Gross yield was around 1.0t/ha and net yield after cleaning was about 780kgs/ha so we have a ways to go before we at acceptable yields. Could I perhaps reach out to you via email or phone? As South Eastern Australia sees more unseasonal rainfall over previous, current and upcoming seasons, is anyone able to share any tips for managing fruit splitting from rainfall events? We have a broad range of permanent horticulture assets covering 3000 Ha (7500 acres) consisting of raisin grapes, wine grapes, walnuts and apples.
