Hi LyOr, I am a market gardner and tomatoes are only a small part of what I grow. So I am no specialist. Hey all,
Has anyone replaced humic acid with any other fungal stimulant for compost tea?
I am trying a brown rice flour brew as we speak as I’ve recently used it to culture mycelium for mushroom cultivation.

Fish emulsion and to a lesser extent unsulphured molasses. Fish is an outstanding fungal food though, especially fresh. Pop some guts, bones, scrap organs, skin (or just the whole fish) into a blender and liquify, put it in your soil. Easy!

I last used Glyphosate in 2019 so I can’t give any personal experience with what you are trying to do. But I recently listened to the No-Till Farmer podcast where Glyphosate with Molasses was very briefly talked about. It in the episode labeled “Rebuilding No-Till Soil’s Microbiome With Compost Extract, Part 2” at the 23 minute mark Ryan Gibbs…
